Hello, Fremont Families and Students!

I’m very excited to be part of the Fremont English department this year!  I’m looking forward to working with your children and helping them meet all of their personal progression and academic goals.  We'll be covering all aspects of the English language this year (writing, speaking, grammar, listening, reading, note taking skills, critical reading, etc.).  Tutoring will be available for students before school on Thursdays and Fridays starting at 8:15am.  Let's make it a great year!

About me:

I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ where I graduated from Tucson High and The University of Arizona (bear down!).  I later moved to Oklahoma City and graduated from The University of Central Oklahoma, and then taught 10th grade World History at Santa Fe High School in Edmond, OK. However, I’m glad I was eventually able to return to Arizona where I worked for several years in higher education advisement/administration for University of Phoenix, where I also earned my MA.

Most of my personal interests revolve around my family (my husband and three daughters, ages 15, 11, and 1), and our ongoing home renovation projects.  However, I also enjoy attending fine and preforming arts galleries/performances, and playing the violin.  I've played in several orchestras through the years, but most recently with the Chandler Symphony.
