Transition Programs
All students need comprehensive long-term transition programs to help them succeed in high school and beyond. School counselors at the elementary, middle school, and high school level are heavily involved in transition programs. Social support, orientation to the next school, peer interaction and curriculum information, academic support, are all components of transition programs at the middle and high school levels.
