Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching students in Gilbert and in Mesa for the past twenty years.  I have taught second and third grade for five years each, sixth grade for two years, seventh and eight grade English for five years, and I also worked for one year as a K-6 librarian.  This will be my second year teaching fourth grade, and I am really looking forward to it.  I have found joy in the journey with all of my students.

Getting to Know Me:

I am an Arizona native, and I've lived in this great state for all but five years of my life.  During my kindergarten through fourth grade years, I lived in California.  Moving back to Arizona allowed me to attend Mesa Public Schools for the remainder of my education.  I attended Roosevelt and Adams Elementary, Powell Junior High, and I'm a proud graduate of Mesa High School.

My husband and I have been blessed with three daughters, two sons-in-law, six grandchildren, and two dogs.  As a family, we like to play at the park, eat ice cream, and make each other laugh!  I enjoy reading, writing, cooking new recipes, traveling, and spending time with my family and with my dogs.

Parents and Guardians:

Please feel free to contact me with any concerns, questions, or just to check in.  By working together we can ensure that your child has the best fourth grade experience possible.  Your child is special to me.  Thank you for the privilege of allowing me to work with your child during the 2017-2018 school year.

Warmest regards,

Mrs. Lori Adler
