My name is Ms. Bicknase and I am the School Counselor for Hale and MacArthur Elementary Schools. I am looking forward to providing your child with tools they can use to help them with personal and social situations they might encounter. Also, providing students with academic skills to help them be successful in school. I am also here to help parents by providing them resources. I received my undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University in Bachelor's of Science in Education with endorsements in English as a Second Language (ESL), which is now called English Language Learners (ELL). In addition, I also have an Early Childhood endorsement. I have been an educator for 18 years. My first year of teaching experience was in the Phoenix Unified School District. Then for the past 17 years, I have been blessed to teach in the Mesa Public School District. In May of 2016, I graduated from Ottawa University with a Master's Degree in Arts of Education in School Guidance Counseling. Over my career in Mesa Public Schools I have been very fortunate to teach at Kerr Elementary, Hale Elementary and a counselor for 2 years at Poston Junior High. I am very excited to be apart of the Hale/MacArthur Elementary family. If you have any questions feel free to contact me by phone or email.
