      Welcome to our class!  I am very excited to be working with a wonderful group of students this year.  I look forward to getting to know you all!

      I have been here at Hawthorne for the last 5 years and have taught 2nd grade, 2nd grade English Language Learners as well as a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade combination class of English Language Learners and a 1st and 2nd grade combination class.  Before coming to Hawthorne, I taught first grade at another Mesa school.  Thiswildcats year, I have the pleasure of teaching third grade students.

     I moved to the west in 2001 and began college at the University of Arizona.  I earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from the UofA in 2005.  Since then, I have continued to take college courses in order to get an ELL endorsement as well as a reading endorsement.

    rsMy parents still live in New Hampshire, and I visit them as often as I can.  I have one older brother who lives in Yorba Linda, California.  When we are all together, we love to cheer on our favorite New England sports teams.  I also enjoy traveling to new places with my family and friends.
