The health office staff provides a variety of services for students and staff including but not limited to:
- screening for vision, hearing, scoliosis, blood pressure, height, weight, and dental status
- ongoing assessment of students with chronic illnesses
- development and evaluation of individual health plans for students with chronic illnesses and special needs
- on-going evaluation and documentation of students’ immunization status
- health education services
- administration of medications
- assessment and documentation of injuries and illnesses
- collaboration with district personnel and community health providers regarding communicable diseases, safety, and current trends in community health (including psychological as well as physical health)
