Program Statement

Our K-6 program will connect arts integration experiences into our general education. Whenever possible our general education program will be planned to include different ways to increase our students' knowledge by using arts integrated content. These content extensions will include fine arts experiences in the following:

Music
Visual Arts
Drama/Theater
Dance
Multi-Media Productions

Our arts integration program benefits all students by:

increasing mastery and proficiency at each of the readiness areas
bridging our curricular offerings by integrating across subject matter
increasing students' ability to investigate, communicate, reason and evaluate the merits of their work
enhancing understanding of themselves and others
increasing knowledge of potential career pathways of involvement in the arts
fostering a lifelong appreciation for and support of the arts
