Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to grow up and become a teacher.  In 2007 my dream came true and I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Elementary Education.  Shortly after that I received a position teaching 5th grade at Highland Elementary. I attended Highland as a student many years ago and I love being a part of the wonderful Highland community. 

This is my third year teaching 5th grade and I love it!  We have many exciting things planned for this year such as Science Camp in December, our Yesteryear Pioneer Celebration in February and the Flight Center in May.  Also, throughout the year we are able to attend a variety of plays and even the Storytelling Festival!

Every year presents new experiences and challenges and I love every second of it!  Get ready for a GREAT year!
