| Project M.E. S. A. (Mesa's Education in Sexual Awareness) is coordinated through the Science and Social Sciences Department. The major purposes of Project M. E. S. A. are to assist parents by providing students with correct and understandable information about human sexuality, to promote wise decision-making in the area of sexuality, and to emphasize that abstinence is the surest way of preventing pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) including AIDS. | ||||||
