Information regarding contracts for the 2012-2013 year

Salary schedules were approved by the Governing Board on May 22, 2012. Schedules for Certificated contract staff, which includes teachers, department specialists, psychologists, speech/language pathologists, counselors, nurses, audiologists, OTs, PTs and SLTs, were increased 2.2%. Salary schedules for all other staff, which includes support staff, supervisors and administrators, were increased 2.0%.
For Certificated contract staff, horizontal movement for changes in education has also been approved for 2012-2013. Movement on the salary schedules for experience and Extra Factor pay remain frozen.
The Old Transition Salary Schedule has also been increased 2.2%. Those teachers who remain on the Old Transition Salary Schedule will receive information about a possible change to the New schedule with their revised contracts.
Revised contracts will be printed the last week of June and held in Human Resources. The revised contracts will be sent to sites for distribution by August 1. Employees who need a copy of their revised contract before August 1 may come to Human Resources during office hours beginning Monday, July 9. Picture ID will be required to pick up the contract.
