SEASONAL FLU --free vaccine at school

In anticipation of upcoming flu season and the potential spread of the H1N1 swine flu, the Centers for Disease Control has recommended all persons of school age be vaccinated against the seasonal flu. If we control the seasonal flu this year, our health care system will be better able to respond to those who may be affected by the H1N1 (swine flu) virus.

In response to this recommendation, Irving had a free flu vaccine clinic for all students and staff in late October. If you would like the seasonal flu vaccine, contact Mesa Immunization Clinic at 625 E. Broadway Rd. in Mesa.  Hours are  8 AM - 4 PM Monday to Friday, closed 12:00-1:00 for lunch.
