Biography
Welcome to my website. I have taught off an on since 1980. I received my BA at California State University at Chico. I have taught at Irving since 1997. Teaching is my passion. I love it when my students "get it"! I believe students need both fun and enjoyment while learning. I feel extremely fortunate to belong to a wonderfully caring and sharing staff, committed to giving a chance, to every child, every day, at Irving Elementary.

Classroom
Expect to see a homework page Mondays -Thursdays.
The three things you can do at home to help are:
1. Practice Math Facts (Multiplication and Division to 12) every day.
2. Have your child read-aloud to you or a sibling, and you read-aloud to your child 20-30 minutes a day.
3. Have your child count your $change$ to you. Also let them know that a penny is .01 or 1/100 or 1 percent, a nickel is .05 or 5/100 or 5 percent, a dime is .10 or 10/100 or 1 tenth or 10 percent, a quarter is .25 or 25/100 or 1 fourth or 25 percent, and a half-dollar is .50 or 50/100 or 1 half or 50% (percent)...
Thank you for all your help.
