Students with special needs are a most unique group of kids. 

After receiving a degree in Psychology and completing post degree work in education,  I obtained teaching certificates to work with students labeled Mildly Impaired or Learning Disabled.   I also have a ESL Endorsement.

I have been teaching at Irving for 18 years, and taught special education in Phoenix before that.   Each year continues to be an exciting adventure in finding out not only what I can help my students to learn,  but also what they can teach me.
