I attended the University of Arizona where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education. I have master's degree through Grand Canyon University in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I have been teaching in Mesa Public Schools for 16 years in the third and fourth grades.
I was born in Michigan but moved to Arizona when I was five. I am almost a native. I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona where I lived until college. I am married and just passed my 17 year anniversary. I have two wonderful boys, Adam and Aedan, who are in fourth and eighth grade this year. We also have three "fur children". Kong is a shepard/husky mix who sheds enough fur to fill my house daily. Chloe is our wonderfully lazy, food hog of a basset hound. Lastly is Tully, a true mutt, who is a very big mamma's girl. We like going for walks with them as the boys ride bikes or scooters with us. I enjoy reading, singing and spending time with friends and family.
