I attended the University of Arizona where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education. I have master's degree through Grand Canyon University in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I have been teaching in Mesa Public Schools for 18 years in the third and fourth grades.
I was born in Michigan but moved to Arizona when I was five. I am almost a native. I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona where I lived until college. I am married and just passed my 19 year anniversary. I have two wonderful boys, Adam and Aedan, who are in seventh and eleventh grades this year. We also have four "fur children". Kong is a shepard/husky mix who sheds enough fur to fill my house daily. Chloe is our wonderfully lazy, food hog of a basset hound. Then there is Tully, a true mutt, who is a very big mamma's girl. This past year we added Mable, a "foster fail" who is a boxer pit mix and a giant love. We foster dogs for Follow Your Heart Animal Rescue which is where Mable came from. I enjoy reading, singing and spending time with friends and family.
My husband and I are big Disney fans and make frequent trips to Disneyland both with and without the children. The whole family enjoys going to the movies or putting one outside with our projector and enjoys s'mores over the firepit.
