Welcome to Ishikawa Elementary School, Home of the Dragons! I am extremely excited to be at Ishikawa. I have been impressed with this school and its dedication to successful teaching and learning. We are all very proud of our “A+” grade that was awarded to us by the State of Arizona. We encourage students to “Show their Dragon Pride” at all times throughout their learning day.
Our theme this school year will be “Power in Leadership and Pride in Achievement“. We as a staff will continue striving to meet the individual learning needs of each child. One way that we will do this is by having students rotate within their specific grade level to either challenge them or to provide re-teach opportunities. The staff at Ishikawa Elementary School prides itself on team work and providing consistent communication between home and school. We appreciate your support and involvement in your child’s education and welcome you to contact us at any time.
We have an outstanding Parent-Teacher Organization at Ishikawa. This organization prides itself in supporting and providing many learning opportunities for all Ishikawa students. Our SIAC (School Improvement Advisory Council) meets on a regular basis to discuss current issues about education. We always welcome your support and involvement in your child’s education along with any assistance you can provide in the classrooms or with the PTO!
As the incoming principal of this great school, I want to continue to provide a safe and caring environment for your child where he/she will receive a quality education. I respect the individual and unique qualities of every child. We as a school will do our best to meet the individual needs of every Ishikawa student.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. I look forward to meeting you as you become a part of our “Ishikawa School Learning Community.” Go Dragons!
