    Hello!  I am currently a 3rd Grade teacher at Ishikawa Elementary. Originally from the Boston area,(go Red Sox!), I graduated with a BS in Early Childhood Education from Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts. I've spent the last 30 years in education, teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd grades, and for three years as a Reading Coach. I have  an ESL endorsement, an Early Childhood endorsement, and a Reading Endorsement.

My husband and I are proud  parents to three amazing kids-Logan, Paige, and Colin. All three are presently in college, but at one time were Ishikawa Dragons, also!  We have three animals who also share our lives: an ornery cat named Bert, and the newest members -two Australian Shepherd dogs named Mario and Luigi.

During my free time, I enjoy reading, walking, running, working out at the gym, hiking, checking out Pinterest, and traveling.  We spend lots of time rooting for the Buffalo Bills, the Diamondbacks, the Phoenix Coyotes, the New England Patriots ,the Boston Bruins, and of course, the Boston Red Sox!

Proud to be an Ishikawa Dragon for the 22nd year, I'm looking forward to a fabulous year with the third grade team and the next group of super students!
