Welcome Parents and Students:
Here is a little information about me.
I have been teaching with Mesa Public Schools for the past thirteen years after having previously taught in Phoenix for several years. My first three years were spent at Whittier Elementary teaching fifth grade. I have been primarily teaching in the fifth and sixth grades at Ishikawa Elementary with a brief stop in the third grade. I have been fortunate to have worked with some great students and wonderful colleagues over these years! This year I will be teaching 6th grade.
Family & Personal History:
My personal history has taken me to on a great adventure throughout my life. I was born in Pennsylvannia, but I grew up in a small Oregon town. Life eventually lead me to Arizona twenty years ago. My family includes a wonderful wife and three growing children. Most of my time away from school is spent at the local softball or soccer fields watching or coaching my daughters and son with thier favorite sports. Educationally, I have found homes at University of Oregon, Arizona State, and Grand Canyon University. Go Devils!
I am looking forward to an exciting learning experience this year with the sixth-grade students and faculty!
