Hello Room 103 parents and welcome to 6th grade! The 2017 - 2018 school year is nearly upon us and is shaping up to be the best ever!

I am honored and thrilled to be preparing for my 4th year here at Ishikawa. This year we will cover topics ranging from ancient Egypt, Greek mythology, the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, to oceanography, how energy works, and cell structures! Science and social studies will take the 6th graders on a journey of enlightenment this school year!

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education from the State University of New York at Oswego (SUNY Oswego, go Lakers!). I earned my Masters of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University (go Sun Devils!).

When I am not in the classroom or being a dad, I adore exploring the mountainous terrain that we are blessed with here in the valley and around the globe. The picture above was taken this past July on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. I also love to travel to new and exciting places just because! My family strives to experience as many of the wonderful and diverse cultures that we can. These unique experiences are definitely the spice of life.

Thanks for taking the time to read a little bit about myself. If you ever need to get in touch with me feel free to use the contact information above. Email is preferred as it has the fastest turnaround time.
