Respect, you can't learn without it!

We, at Johnson, work to provide both success and challenge for children to help them grow physically, academically, and socially. We'll make every effort to meet each child's individual needs in reading, math, language, PE, science and social studies, as well as in attitudes, values and behaviors. As parents and teachers we must join hands and work together to emphasize the following goals:

To be child-centered, recognizing each child's individuality and value.
To promote mastery of basic skills in reading, math, and written and oral communications. In addition, a broad range of experiences in science, social studies, art and music are provided.
To develop leadership, socialization and special talents.
To encourage self-discipline as the basis for good work habits, responsibility and appropriate citizenship.
To maintain open communication and parent involvement.
To treat children with respect, encouraging them to value each other as good people, and to respect the rights and differences of others.
To enrich the daily activities with opportunities to reach for maximum physical and mental development.
