I grew up in Mesa and graduated from Mountain View High School. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree from Arizona State University. I have been teaching in the Mesa school district since 1987. I have taught first through fifth grade. My husband and I have two grown children.
