Welcome to Mrs. Dresser’s Speech/Language Web Page!

Speech and Language Disorders come in many forms.  A few are:

Voice:  Vocal nodules, cleft palate

Fluency:  Stuttering

Language:  Expressive or receptive

Articulation:  Speech sound production

Muscular:  Cannot swallow, eat, or speak

Hearing Impairments:  Cannot hear speech or speak

Other Disorders:  Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Brain Injury, Mental or Physical Handicaps

Students who have been identified with a speech or language disorder are seen weekly either in their regular classroom (inclusion) or in the speech room (pull-out).  Ask your child when he or she meets with Mrs. Dresser.
