Biography

Welcome to 5th grade!  I am Mrs. Strickland.  This is my 25th year of teaching in Mesa Public Schools.  In fact, I have taught all 25 years at Jordan! I am originally from Iowa, where I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.  While here at Jordan, I have taught both 4th and 5th grades. 

On a personal note, I have two daughters, and a wonderful husband, to whom I have been married to for over 22 years now.  My oldest daughter graduated from Dobson High School here in Mesa in 2009, and is now attending college in Iowa.  My youngest daughter is a senior at Dobson this year.  My hobbies include music, photography, and following my kids around to their various events and activities!
