Biography

Hello!  Thank you for taking the time to check out my web page!  I have been the speech-language pathologist at Kerr since 2006 and am very excited to be back again this year!  I have worked in other schools in OH and AZ and Kerr Elementary has, by far, the best students, staff and parents!  I consider myself to be very lucky to work here!

I grew up in Cleveland, OH.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from John Carroll University and then went to Cleveland State University where I earned my Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology.  I worked for a contract company in Cleveland for a year.  During that time I worked in three private schools in the Cleveland area.  I loved my job and family in Cleveland but decided that I could not deal with another Cleveland winter!  Snow in April and May was not okay with me so I decided to move to a warmer climate.  I have been in Arizona since 2005 and I love it!  It’s hard to get tired of the sunshine and I LOVE the heat!

I am still very much enjoying married life!  In our spare time we enjoy traveling and spending time with our cat, two dogs, and turtle.  We hope to travel to Hawaii, Spain, and Italy within the next 5-7 years.
