I am a native of the great state of Arizona. I am married and have two children (both of whom attended Mesa Public Schools). I was a stay at home mom for nearly 12 years. I began substitute teaching and then began teaching full time when my youngest entered first grade.

I hold a BS in Individualized Studies, a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, and a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I also hold a full ESL (English as a Second Language Endorsement) and School Guidance Counseling post Master's certificate. I also obtained a MA in Administration Leadership. I am a life long learner. :-)

I began teaching in 2006 and enjoyed the classroom for many years. Prior to becoming a Dean of Students I taught fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. I am an adjunct faculty member at Ashford University where I teach undergraduate courses for aspiring teachers across the country.

I am committed to working with children, families, and staff to promote student achievement and success. I am eager to meet and talk with you regarding your child’s goals, concerns, and progress!
