Many of you probably wondering, "What is ECAP & Navigator?"

The first counseling lesson in the classroom for each student is to teach students how to access their MyMPS Portal for grade & attendance checks and also to navigate their ECAP online (online education and career portfolio).

Students in 7th and 8th grades use the online Navigator program to build their Educational Career Action Plan (ECAP).

The online portfolio holds information about the individual student's career choice(s), resume, and their 4-year high school course outline, as well as post secondary options (university, college, technical schools, military service, etc.). All students in 7th-12th grades work in Navigator on a quarterly basis with their counselor.
