Mrs. Ross has been a counselor at Kino Jr. High since 2007. Prior to that, she attended Arizona State University where she earned both her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Counseling. Mrs. Ross is the counselor for all Kino students with last names starting with N-Z. Mrs. Ross is always happy to speak or meet with parents regarding their child.
As a counselor, Mrs. Ross meets with individual students for counseling and academic advising. She also presents various classroom lessons on career guidance, planning for the future, getting along with others, and student success. In addition, Mrs. Ross works with the Counseling Department to develop school-wide programs and activities, such as Kino Kickoff for incoming 7th graders, prevention assemblies, and the Ambassador program to assist students who are new to Kino. Mrs. Ross was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. When she is not working with Kino students, Mrs. Ross enjoys the beautiful Arizona sunshine, spending time with her husband and daughter, and visiting her family members who live scattered throughout the United States. Back to Top.
