I started teaching in 2008. In my short time as an educator I have taught grades K-12, including online high school. I have spent the majority of my time in the classroom as a 7th and 8th grade computer basics teacher, but have taught other electives such as character education, Microsoft certification, and college and career exploration. I have even written and developed curriculum for an online student success course.
I graduated from Brigham Young University Hawaii with a a bachelor's degree in International Business Management. Additionally, I have a Master's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix and a Career and Technical education (CTE) certificate in business and marketing.
In my spare time, I enjoy scrapbooking, baking, Atlanta Braves Baseball, and hanging out with my beagle, Georgia. I love traveling, Disneyland, and reading. When reading I prefer non-fiction. While I enjoy learning about many historical events, as well as people worldwide, and throughout time, my favorite reading is about the Kennedy assassination and presidency, especially conspiracy theories aimed at solving who shot JFK.
