Mr. Aaron Kaczmarek
Welcome to Las Sendas
Dear Las Sendas Families,
Welcome back for another amazing school year. Needless to say, last year was memorable, but we have even greater things in store for this year. To those parents who are new to Las Sendas, I say welcome. You are part of an amazing community that truly supports education and the physical well-being of all its students. I am honored to work at Las Sendas Elementary. Just to remind you, I have an open-door policy and I will always make time to talk to you. My direct phone line is 472-8725. Feel free to use it at any time. I am here for you and our children.
Here is just a little information about myself. This is my 22nd year in education, my 19th year as a Principal, and my seventh year at Las Sendas. Prior to administration, I taught 5th and 6th grades at Barbara Bush Elementary School.
On a personal side, I have been married 27 years to my wife, Michele Kaczmarek, and we have three wonderful boys. My oldest boy is Taylor, who graduated from University of San Diego and is now married to his wonderful wife Alysia. They recently had their first child Lennyn which I am loving having a little girl in the family. My middle son is Brennan, who is getting ready to graduate from Desert Ridge High school and is preparing to go to college and get his degree in fire science and biology. My youngest son, Braeden, is in eight grade at Desert Ridge Junior high and is always keeping me young and on my toes. He is truly the life of the party and full of personality.
My philosophy is simple. If we work together (students, teachers, parents, and the community), our students will become successful members of society. I firmly believe that we have to experience success, but our greatest achievements are those that had numerous obstacles to overcome. I believe in giving our children every opportunity to succeed in this educational environment, but we will also provide numerous challenges for them to overcome. Your support in all aspects of their educational life is invaluable, and we are counting on seeing you often on the campus.
Several years ago we set a goal to have Las Sendas as the top performing school in the East Valley, and eventually state. Well, I have great news! We have accomplished this for the past three years. When I was asked by an Arizona Republic reporter how it was achieved, I told them that it was our amazing teachers and the parents in our community. I congratulate you all for this incredible accomplishment. Now I have to make a new long-range goal: my new goal is to have Las Sendas Elementary recognized as one of Nations premier schools. I am excited to be a part of your community and look forward to our many successes together.
