Lehi Uniforms

Lehi has a uniform policy. Below you will find the guidelines for this policy.  This information should help you as you dress your child for success.


Boys

  • Solid khaki pants or shorts. Pants/shorts may not have any emblems, designs, or logos.  Cargo and corduroy pants are acceptable.  NO jeans or sweatpants. Overalls are acceptable if made with uniform material.  All pants must be fitted and not baggy.
  • Plain forest/hunter green collared shirts.

Girls
  • Solid khaki pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, or jumpers. The outfit may not have any emblems, designs, or logos. Cargo pants and corduroys are acceptable NO jeans or sweatpants. Overalls are acceptable if made with uniform material. All pants must be fitted and not baggy.
  • Plain forest/hunter green collared shirts.

Other general items of importance:

  • Baggy or oversized clothing is not permitted.  Clothing may not be more than one size larger than the students clothing size.  No sagging, dragging or bagging of clothing is allowed.
  • Shorts must have at least a two inch inseam and extend to the tip of student’s fingers.
  • Skirts and dresses must extend at least one inch beyond the tip of the student’s fingers.
  • Long sleeve T-shirts, turtlenecks, thermal wear, or waffle shirts may be worn under a collared uniform shirt.  The sleeves must be solid forest green, navy blue, tan, white, gray or black.  All shirts worn under the hunter green collared shirts must be tucked in the outfit.
  • Non-hooded sweatshirts or sweaters can be worn in the classroom if the uniform polo shirt collar is displayed over top.  Acceptable colors are solid forest green, white or gray.
  • Jackets and hooded sweatshirts are considered outerwear and are parent-choice attire.  Students will be asked to remove outerwear when they enter the building.
  • Socks/Tights: May be forest green, navy blue, tan, white, gray or black and must be a solid color. 
  • Shoes:  For safety reasons, close-toed shoes are required.  No sandals, flip flops or slides are permitted.  Shoes may not have heels higher than 1”.  Shoes with wheels are not permitted.
  • Cosmetics: As indicated in district policy, elementary students may not use cosmetics.  Face paint is prohibited.
  • Hats may only be worn outside.
  • Accessories:  Buttons, jewelry, etc., may not display vulgar, obscene or offensive messages.  Anything that might interfere with school activities or promote anything that would be illegal for students (tobacco, alcohol, drugs) is not permitted.  Earrings may NOT be larger than 1” in diameter or dangle longer than 1”.  Any inappropriate item will need to be removed and taken home after school.
