Special Education Department
"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." - Albert Einstein

The special education department offers three MIID classrooms that provide intensive instruction for students who are below grade level in all academic areas. The students in these classrooms range in age from 5-13 and they remain in their classrooms all day except for specials.

Another special education program is provided for students who have difficulty in one or more academic areas. These students range from K 6th grade, and are in their regular classrooms for most of the day except when they attend the special class throughout the day.

In addition, the department has a full-time speech therapist on our campus to evaluate speech and language, and serve students who have exhibited the need for speech services.
