Special Education

The special education department offers two MIID classrooms that provide
intensive instuction for students who are below grade level in all
adademic areas. The students in these classrooms range in age from 5-13
and they remain in their classrooms all day except for specials.

Another special education program is provided for students who have
difficulty in one or more academic areas. These students range from K-6th
grade, and are in their regular classrooms for most of the day except when
they attend the special class throughout the day.

In addition, the department has a full-time speech therapist on
our campus to evaluate and serve students who have exhibited the need for
speech services.
