Biography

I have been so blessed to be a teacher at Lincoln Elementary. The community here is amazing! The parents, students and staff here at Lincoln have been so supportive and amazing. Teaching has always been a passion for me. I have completed many district offered trainings that I have gained essential tools to incorporate into the classroom to help your child meet his/her goals. I will focus on meeting your child's Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals that are appropriate to student success in the classroom. I will also work with the general education teachers to include your child into the general education classroom as it is appropriate for your child. I have a love for learning and I would hope that my students would also learn to love learning as much as I do.

By making my classroom a safe, fun and disciplined place for my students, I would hope that they will enjoy coming to my classroom and learning something new every day. I feel that all children are different and require specific attention and affection for them to flourish. I will strive to be an educator who loves each child that walks in her door and gives each of them not only an education, but a passion to learn. I love having a combo class of fourth, fifth and sixth graders because I get the opportunity to teach students who are at varied levels I am so excited to help my sixth grade students to make the transition to be successful in middle school.

I am fortunate to have two wonderful Instructional Assistants as part of the team in the classroom. Mr. Ray and Ms. Zee will provide the students with great care, dedication, and patience each day. Our class will be completing a lot of projects this year and quite a few fun events are planned. To have a place of growing knowledge and acceptance is what I want for my classroom. I would hope that we will be able to work towards a successful year together. All of us look forward to meeting you and getting to know your child.
