I have been working as a nurse for 20 years. I received my nursing degree from Millard Fillmore Hospital School of Nursing in Buffalo New York then went on to finish my schooling from Daemen College with my Bachelor's degree in nursing.
I started work at Millard Fillmore Hospital on an orthopedic/medical/surgical floor for four years. I then moved onto a doctor's office where I spent the next 10 years working my way up to office manager of four of our groups 21 offices. It was a wonderful opportunity to work with many different specialists. We worked with family practitioners, internal medicine, pediatricians, surgeons, OB/GYNs, podiatrists, and acupuncturists. I loved working with everyone there. When I am home for the summer I still work for my friend in one of the offices where I can see all my friends.
Then I met my future husband who lived in Mesa, AZ and here I am! I have been at Lindbergh since 2005. In 2008 I also started working at Holmes Elementary. I am so lucky to have two such great schools to work in. My son, Justin is a student at Porter Elementary and I enjoy watching him play soccer, baseball, and basketball.
In my spare time, I love to sing in my church choir and in a community group called the North Valley Chorale. In addition, my family and I go back east to my hometown of East Aurora, just outside of Buffalo, NY every summer to visit my family and I love to rejoin my summer softball league. Go Leo's!
