Welcome to My Website
This is just a little note to let you know about me. I have taught many years with some professions in between. I love teaching and have enjoyed other jobs that I have had. I have taught in Tacoma, WA; Okinawa ( a very small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean below Japan); Gervais, OR; Las Vegas, NV; Flat Rock, NC; and Mesa, Az. The other jobs in between were: Stewardess for Western Airlines, Church Secretary, and Manager of Hallmarks.
Something interesting is that I knew from 7th grade on I wanted to be a teacher and a stewardess. In junior high, I was able to go down to the elementary school below to help with reading. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Western Washington University in Bellingham,WA. When I went to school, I worked for my board and room.
I love working with children and have taught many grade levels such as 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th. I am interested in my students' growth academically and socially. It is also important to me that young people learn to be kind to one another.
