English Language Arts:                        

I can build, blend, and write words with weekly sounds.

I can fluently read sight words.

I can use appropriate grammar when writing and speaking.

I can identify non fiction text features.

I can identify basic similarities between two texts on the same topic.

I can compare and contrast adventures and experiences of characters.

I can identify which information was provided by pictures or text in a story.

Mathematics:

I can solve addition and subtraction stories within 20.

I can use different strategies to add and subtract within 20.

I can add and subtract fluently within 10.

I can understand the values in a two digit number.

I can find 10 more and 10 less.

I can compare two and three digit numbers.

I can count on and count back tens and ones.

I can add and subtract tens and ones.

Writing:

I can print all upper and lowercase letters.

I can use capital letters and correct ending punctuation when I write.

I can write with neat handwriting.

Social Studies:

I can model good character in room 307.

I can practice being a good listener and learning the classroom rules and procedures in room 307.

I can make appropriate choices that help me and my classmates learn.

I can show PAWS at Lindbergh (Pride, good Attitude, Wise Choices, and Safety).

I can recognize state symbols of Arizona. 

I will discuss the significance of national holidays - President's Day.
