My Biography

I attended Duquesne University.  I graduated in the spring of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences, and then received my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in summer 2009.  I hold ASHA certification.

I am a Pennsylvania native.  This is my seventh school year in Arizona and sixth with Mesa Public Schools.  I do not miss the cold weather, although I am an avid sports fan and still follow all of my hometown teams (go Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates!).  I also like to read, go to movies and restaurants, watch TV, and visit friends and family back East.

I am excited to be working as your child's Speech-Language Pathologist.  When I say that I am an SLP, a lot of people think of children who say "wabbit" instead of "rabbit" (articulation).  While that is certainly a target area in many students' IEPs, articulation is actually only one part of the communication process that can be addressed by an SLP.

I hope you find my page helpful and informative.  Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions or to discuss your child's IEP goals and progress!
