Parent Involvement

Parents are a child’s first teacher.  The role played by parents is extremely important in influencing our children’s behavior and academic success.  We welcome parent volunteers and encourage participation our Family Literacy Program.  If you are interested in working closely with the school, please contact Felipa Garcia at 480-472-6542.

School Schedule

Bell rings—8:20— it is expected that students be on campus and in line at this time.

Dismissal—2:55 p.m. (M, T, Th, F) 2:25 p.m. Early Release Wednesdays

Please plan to pick up your child on time daily. Changes in the way student get home daily, must be cleared through the office.

**Students are to arrive on campus after 8:00 a.m.** Students that arrive on campus, without previous arrangements, will be asked to come to the office and parents will be contacted.

Uniform Guidelines

Longfellow is a uniform school.  All students are expected to be dressed in uniforms daily. 

Uniform Guidelines:

1) Red, White or Blue tops--Polo shirt style—with no emblem

2) Navy blue bottoms--shorts, skorts, pants (no jeans)

3) All shirts must be tucked in

4) No flip flops—girls sandals must have a strap.
