I am Pat Cobb, a reading interventionist at Lowell School.  I work with teachers and students, assisting in the development of reading skills for K-6 students. I have taught school in Mesa Public Schools since 1969.  I was on the staffs of Holmes School and Robson School teaching kindergarten for over 31 years with several other years spent in the first and second grades.  I retired in 2005 and then returned part time in 2007 serving as a reading coach/ interventionist at Whittier school.  The school was involved in the Reading First program and Whittier has continued the practices of this program.  I supervise the curriculum, groupings and instructional assistants supporting our intervention programs.  I also prepared the reading data for both school and state use.

After I worked at Whittier, I moved to Lowell school in 2017 and continued the same program of intervention for reading, offering services for K-4 students in the area of reading.
