SMS Text Messaging
The district is excited to launch SMS text messaging to enhance our communication of important information. To begin receiving text messages, simply text "yes" to 68453. You will receive the following reply: You are registered to receive approximately 3 messages/month, Txt STOP to quit, HELP for help.
You will want to be sure the school has your cellphone number(s) in our student information database. A maximum of two cellphone numbers per student can be accommodated.
7:45 AM -- 2:15 PM*
Early release -- 1:45 PM
NOTE: Students should not be on
campus before 7:20 AM

Mark your family calendars now for our upcoming Jump Rope for Heart event taking place during PE classes the week of Feb 17th. Mesa students and community to celebrate Ida Redbird Day Jan. 30

Mesa will come together to celebrate the life of one of Arizona's most famous artists on Friday, Jan. 30. The public is invited to attend Ida Redbird Day at Redbird Elementary , which is named after the legendary Native American potter.
Ida Redbird Day festivities will be held at the school from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be hands-on activities for students to decorate pots in Redbird's style...
Mesa Public Schools kindergarten registration begins Jan. 26

It’s not too early to prepare if your child is entering
kindergarten in fall 2015. Mesa Public Schools will open registration for
kindergarten Monday, January 26, with evening registration available on
Tuesday, January 27.
Early registration provides adequate planning time for your
family and for your child’s school. By registering now, schools can plan for
