Teaching is a childhood dream come true for me!  I retired from SRP after 25 years of service.  Throughout those years, I was an active parent volunteer at my children’s schools (including Madison), which rekindled my passion to teach.  So, I returned to college and earned a Masters Degree in Special Education.

I believe that a teacher has the ability to reach every student.  A teacher inspires, encourages, and believes. A teacher realizes the potential that every student has.  A teacher strives to meet the needs the best they can of all their students, including providing a safe learning environment.

As a parent, I know how quickly your children grow.  I have three boys of my own, the youngest in junior high and the oldest a recent ASU graduate.  So my biggest advice as a parent/teacher is for you to savor every moment with your child!  They're only yours for a short time.

Please feel free to contact me anytime with concerns regarding your student.  We work as a team to make your child successful!
