CHESS CLUB

Mendoza is proud to have a Chess Club again this year. We meet on Tuesdays before school from 7:45 to 8:15 AM. During this time the students learn different techniques that will enable them to succeed in chess. They also learn about being a team player and working together in groups. We have a variety of skill levels ranging from advanced to beginning students.

GARDEN CLUB

The Mendoza Garden Club meets after school from 3 to 4:00 on Thursdays under the guidance of Mrs. Flanary.

Students in the Garden Club will manage a service garden on the campus of Shepherd Junior High next door by growing vegetables for food banks and giving tours for the elderly.
