I have worked for Mesa Public Schools for 9 years as a Special Ed. para-professional. Classes I have worked in are autism self contained k-6 and Kindergarten with English Language Learners. I’m bilingual and translated for about three years for Mesa Public School District for IEP, MET and RED meetings. I also translated for some Parent University courses.

In December of 2019, I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a dual bachelor’s degree in Special and Elementary education. I started my journey here at Mendoza in October of 2020 and really enjoy working with the staff and kids. It makes me proud to be a pup.

I have been married for 20 years. I have six kids ages 14-24. My second oldest son was born with autism and as a result, is part of what lead me to want to teach Special Education. We have three dogs, two cats and a bird. My favorite color is purple. During my free time my favorite thing to do is travel.
