Biography
From a very young age, I wanted to be a music teacher. I received my degree in Music Education from Northern Arizona University in 2008, and have had a variety of teaching experiences since. I have taught and assisted in many schools, private lessons, and community programs for the past 12 years. I came to Mesa Public Schools in 2018, and I became the orchestra teacher at Mendoza and Entz Elementary schools in 2019.
A little bit about me:
I grew up in Colorado before coming to Arizona for school. I come from a LONG line of educators and music educators (all of my family is involved in education in one way or another). Aside from living in Arizona and Colorado, I also spent 4 years in Pennsylvania as my husband continued his education.
When I am not teaching music in the classroom, I am a mom to three rambunctious boys.
