WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN!

Hello and welcome to the 2012-2013 school year.  I am very excited to have your child in my classroom this year.  This website will keep you informed of the many activities your child will be doing at school, our classroom calendar, and our weekly newsletter.  Please refer to it often.

ABOUT ME!

I am originally from McHenry, IL.  I graduated from Western Illinois University and afterwards moved to Arizona to complete my student teaching in 1987.  I began teaching at Mendoza in 1988.  The school was just starting its second year!  I continued my education securing my masters degree in 1994 and continued working at Mendoza teaching grades K, 1, 2, and 3.

I am married with two children who are 20and 21.  I love to read, travel, hike, and spend as much time outdoors as possible!

TEAMWORK

I stress to my students that we are a team in our classroom and working together is of the utmost importance.  Teamwork between a teacher and parent is also of the utmost importance.  When we work together as a team we can ensure that your child receives the best education possible.
