Thank You for Supporting the Biotech Academy's Travel in 2009 and 2010
The Biotech Academy students visited Ireland for 10 days in the summer of 2010 at the invitation of Jackie Gorman, the CEO of the Atlantic Corridor in Ireland, to instruct Irish teachers and students in hands-on Bioscience STEM activities. We here at the academy that you for your support that allowed us to share hands on biotechnology and science research with 5th and 6th Class aged students throughout the Midlands of Ireland. We visited 9 schools in Tullamore and the surrounding area and shared several lab activities with hundreds of students.
