Biography:  I was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona. I attended Corona Del Sol High School from 1995-1998. I was a member of the Varsity basketball team for three years and played in the 1996 5A State Championship game. I went on to play some Junior College basketball at MCC and CGCC before transferring to 4 year University.  I graduated from Arizona State University in 2004 with a Degree in Secondary Physical Education.  I have also received a masters degree in multicultural / Bilingual education through Northern Arizona University in 2007.  This will be my 14th year teaching in the Mesa District and my 7th year teaching at Mesa High School.  Over the last 13 years I have been coaching freshman, JV and Varsity Basketball as well as freshman football. In 2013-2014 school year the lady jackrabbits basketball team took another huge step as they qualified for the state tournament!! In the 2015-2016 season the lady rabbits went 27-5 on the season, qualified for the state tournament and made it to the final four.  Last Year in the 2016-2017 season the lady rabbits again qualified for the the tournament winning their play in round game before losing to the #1 team in the state. Go MESA!!

 

On a personal level,  I am married to a wonderful woman who is also an educator at Mesa High.  She teaches Hip Hop and beginning dance here.  We are proud parents to 2 beautiful girls ages 7 and 5 and a little boy that is 4.  They are my pride and joy and make my life what it is.  We also have two crazy dogs named Defense and Starr who are just as much a member of our family as our children!!!
