Born and raised in Arizona, I grew up in Mesa and Gilbert. I graduated from Gilbert High School in 1999. I then spent two years in Japan teaching English and serving a mission for my church. When I came home I started college at Mesa Community College and then went on to Arizona State University to get my degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in history. I graduated with my Bachelors degree from ASU in 2007. I graduated with my Masters degree in Educational Leadership from NAU in 2011.
I taught History at Brimhall Jr. High and then at Taylor Jr. High. I was the Team Leader at Taylor Jr. High for three years before moving to Mesa High School.
This is my forth year at Mesa High School and I am excited to be the Assistant Principal over Juniors and Activities. I am happily married to my wife Jennifer and we have four wonderful sons named Kadon, Sawyer, Jaxon and Ryder. One of my favorite quotes is, "Life is what you make it", and I try my best to live that way.
