Mr.Clinton (Junior) Taylor


Boys PE/ Varsity Football Coach



Coach Junior Taylor earned three Varsity letters in Football, Basketball, and Track at Mesa high. He was a 2-time High School All-American Football player. He was named 2-time All-State on offense and defense, and played in the first National All-American High School Football game in Dallas.Taylor continued his football career at UCLA scoring a 49-yard touchdown on his first college play. He was named team captain for 2 years and MVP of multiple games ending his career in the top 15 of all stats for UCLA Wide Receivers. Taylor Graduated from UCLA with a Degree in History and a Minor in Education.

Taylor's playing career was cut short due to knee injuries. Taylor return home to Arizona, where he was a partners in starting several charter schools throughout Arizona. Taylor has over 13 years of Administration, Teaching and Coaching experience on his resume.

Taylor hopes to share all of his experiences with the current students of Mesa high to Carry on the Traditions!
