The 2018-2019 school year is my ninth at Mesa High School; I am pleased to be a Jackrabbit and part of this community of tradition and excellence.  I have been teaching in Mesa Public Schools for the last 24 years - this is the start of year 25!  Prior to that I worked for the Mesa Family YMCA in youth and family programs.

I grew up in Mesa (Nathan Hale, Poston, Mt. View) and I find it rewarding to be part of the educational continuum in my community.  I have a Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University in Secondary Education and a Master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Diverse Learner Education.

These are my kids. My dog is named Tes (short for Tesoro which means sweetie in Italian). I have three cats. The orange and white cutie is named Mischief, because he is in to everything.  He even likes to help me grade papers.  The gray in the middle is named Gracie. The handsome black cat is named Jack. Tes is a rescue dog and both Gracie and Jack are rescue cats.
