I was born in Peoria, Illinois and attended Peoria High School where I was a three sport athlete and in the top 10% of my class.  I moved out to Arizona to attend Arizona State University where I received my degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics.  I also received my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Northern Arizona University.

I have been teaching Math and coaching a variety of sports at Mesa High for the past 20 years.  I resigned as the Varsity Girls basketball coach seven seasons ago to further my education and earned my principal certificate. This year I will return to coaching for my 6th season as the Varsity Girls golf coach and Freshman Girls basketball coach.  I love my job and know that each and every student has the potential to learn and accomplish any goals they set their mind to.  Mesa High is the best school in this state with its diverse population and everlasting traditions - it is a great place to teach and learn!  Carry On - Mesa High!
