Biography

My name is Lilia Gomez-Napier, and it is a great pleasure to be serving as the Assistant Principal for 9th graders at Mesa High.  My family moved to Arizona in 1969 from California.  I grew up in Mesa and attended Mesa Public Schools. After High School I attended MCC and then went on to ASU where I graduated with a B.A. in Spanish and my Masters in Secondary Education. I attended NAU for my Principal Certification.  I have been married for 23 years to my husband Erick and I have a son also named Erick, who will be starting his second year of college in the fall.

During my career in Mesa I have been an ESL/Migrant Resource Specialist, a Spanish teacher, and an Assistant Principal at Westwood and Mesa High. Before my return to Mesa High I was the principal of Superstition High School.

Please feel free to call or email if you have any questions regarding your student.  I truly enjoy working with young people and will do everything I can to ensure that they get what they need to be successful at Mesa High.
